Founder's Note

Bhim Arya

Bhim was born and raised in Banaras, a city that quietly teaches patience, observation, and storytelling before one even realizes it. His academic journey began with Commerce, Finance, and Marketing at Banaras Hindu University, followed by Travel and Logistics Management. Somewhere between balance sheets and supply chains, cinema happened. He moved to Delhi, worked as a Domestic and International Business Relations Manager at a travel operator company, trained in theatre part time, and gradually found himself gravitating toward casting.

For him, casting became more than placing faces; it became about understanding people. He began his casting journey in Delhi, working on TV and digital commercials and collaborating on over 200 campaigns that sharpened his instinct for brand fit and audience relevance. To build deeper industry roots, he moved into long-format films and global projects such as Citadel: Honey Bunny, Black Warrant, Baby John, Santosh, which went to the Oscars in 2025, and others. Over time, he built strong relationships across the industry, including directors, producers, writers, cinematographers and talents from every imaginable category.

What led him to Moonwards was a simple observation. Brands and startups are busy building products, teams, and growth, but when it comes to celebrity partnerships, they are often given limited and mismatched options by agencies that lack clear direction and a true understanding of casting, marketing fit, or storytelling. At Moonwards, the team helps brands and agencies choose the right options by sharing the pressure of decision-making and offering clear guidance on finding the most suitable celebrity fit. This gap felt too important to ignore.

Moonwards exists to change that. The team sits at the table, asks the right questions, understands the brand deeply, and offers meaningful choices, not just faces. When needed, the story is taken all the way from concept to final film. The belief remains simple: the right talent, chosen with intent, can transform not just campaigns, but confidence itself.
